Varun Dhawan’s action film Baby John opened well with a strong double-digit collection on its first day. However, the movie quickly lost steam, with its earnings dropping consistently over the week. Baby John Box Office Report: Day 7

As per Sacnilk, Baby John has earned a total of ₹32.31 crore (nett) in its first week. The action thriller, which released on December 25, has struggled to maintain its box office performance, showing a steady decline over seven days. On Day 7, the film collected ₹1.81 crore (nett) in India, according to early estimates.

The movie had a promising start with ₹11.25 crore on its opening day but saw a significant drop of 57.78% on Day 2, earning ₹4.75 crore. Since then, the collections have continued to decline, with Day 6 registering ₹1.85 crore, reflecting a further 61.05% dip. On December 31, the film recorded just 10.68% occupancy in Hindi shows.

Comparison with Pushpa 2

While Baby John has struggled, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is dominating the box office. The blockbuster has collected ₹1760 crore globally in 25 days and is closing in on the all-time record of ₹2070.3 crore held by Aamir Khan’s Dangal.

About the Film

Directed by Kalees, Baby John stars Varun Dhawan alongside Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav. Salman Khan also makes a special appearance in this action-packed thriller, produced by Atlee, known for Jawan.

The story revolves around a police officer who goes into hiding to protect his daughter, only to confront his past when her safety is threatened. A remake of Vijay’s Theri, the film received mixed reviews and fell short of expectations at the box office.
